Coach Leonardo Santin published in Nov/Dec 2020 issue of United Soccer Coaches Magazine

Coach Leonardo Santin has once again been published in the United Soccer Coaches November/December 2020 magazine.  Founded in 1941 and based in Kansas City, Mo., United Soccer Coaches has grown into the world’s largest soccer coaches’ organization that serves members at every level of the game.

Coach Leo's most recent article entitled "Hybrid Model: A Mix Between Tactical Periodization and Structured Training" looks at how implementing multiple strategies in youth soccer can build stronger clubs, teams, and players.   Coach Leo was first published by United Soccer Coaches magazine in March 2019 with an article entitled "Tactics: Part 2".

Coach Leo was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil.  He played youth soccer in Brazil and collegiate soccer at Northwest College and Union University in the US.  After graduation, he began his coaching career.  He served as an Assistant Coach for the professional teams at A.A. Francana, Botafogo SP, Comercial FC and Batatais FC.  He also served as an Assistant Coach at Alabama A&M University with the Women's team and as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Alabama in Huntsville for the Men's team.  Coach Leo is the current Youth Academy Director for United Soccer Club and also coaches U10, U12, and U16 Boys for USC.
