Chip Hightower, a senior at Westminster Christian Academy, has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at NCAA Division II University of Montevalo, a member of the Peach Belt Conference.  Chip started playing soccer at age 5.  He played soccer at USC for four years and was a member of the '96 Boys Premier team which won the U-18 Division I State Cup championship in 2013, USC's first team to win State Cup.  Chip was also invited to represent the North Team at the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) All-Star soccer game this past summer in Montgomery.  While at Westminster Chip was a 4 year starter on the soccer team and also earned letters in football and swimming.
