USC 10 Boys Premier

The United 2010 Boys Premier team are champions of the Tiempo division at the Tennessee Invitational.  The boys won their first game Saturday morning over TSC BAS Elite by a 5-2 score.  They then lost a very close game against TUSC Boys Blue.  USC came out a little flat and gave up two quick goals within the first couple of minutes.  They battled back to tie it by half time.  A back forth second half produced only one goal for TUSC for a 3-2 final for the boys from Tennessee. The USC boys had to settle for second in the group and had to play the number 1 seed (TYSA U9 Boys Geen) in the semifinals on Sun morning.  USC got off to a quick start and scored 3 goals in the first 10 minutes and were able to finish the game 6-0 to set up a rematch with TUSC in the finals.  The game started with TUSC pressing the USC boys but were not able to get a goal.  USC were able to get one midway through the half and nearly conceded right before half to escape with a 1-0 lead.  The second half saw USC add 3 more goals for a 4-0 victory and the gold medal. Great job on the entire weekend and to two shutouts in the semis and finals.

USC 09 Boys Premier

The USC 09 Boys Premier fought their way into the Championship game of the U10 9v9 Legend bracket, coming off a 7-0 win against Memphis FC, a 2-2 tie against Aris FC, and then a rematch and a 3-2 win Sunday morning against Aris FC again.

The boys faced Lexington FC 2009 Boys White in the finals and ultimately fell 2-3 at full time.  These boys finished out their season with yet another piece of hardware and an incredible second place finish in a highly competitive 9v9 bracket.
