01 Boys Blue are Champions at the 2011 Liberty Cup Soccerfest

Congratulations to the USC 01 Boys Blue for winning the U-11 Liberty Division of the 2011 Liberty Cup Soccerfest. In group play the boys defeated BUSA Primero South 6-0, Vestavia Steamers 02 Black 4-3, and tied TN Rush 01 Swoosh 1-1. In the finals they defeated the Homewood Eagle 7-4. The USC family would like to congratulate the team on their championship and wish them continued success for the rest of the season.

USC 01 Boys Comets are Champions at Governor's Cup

Congratulations go out to the USC 01 Boys Comets for taking the championship at the 2010 Alabama Governor's Cup. The boys went undefeated in round robin play with wins over Fusion Blue 4-3, Fort Payne 6-2, Capital City Streaks 4-2, and Homewood 4-3. The USC family would like to congratulate the team on their championship and wish them continued success.

United 01 Boys Comets Take Championship at TUSC United Cup of Champions

Congratulations go out to the United 01 Boys Comets for winning the Championship at the Tennessee United Cup of Champions this past weekend. The boys were undefeated in 4 games with wins over Nashville SC 8-1, Commonwealth FC 6-3, TUSC 5-3, and winning the championship game against the tournament hosts TUSC 3-2. The USC family would like to congratulate the team on their championship and wish them continued success for the rest of the season.

U9s Find Success at Governor's Cup

The United 01 Boys Rowdies were Champions of the red division in the Governor's Cup state tournament. The boys had a strong weekend going undefeated in round robin play over 4 games. They had wins over Vestavia 7-4, River City 5-0, Coosa Storm 6-5, and a tie with Tuscaloosa 2-2.

The United 01 Boys Comets were Finalists of the green division in the Governor's Cup state tournament. The boys had a great showing in their bracket compiling a 2-1 record over 3 games in round robin play. They had wins over Tuscaloosa 4-3, Homewood 4-0, and a narrow loss to the eventual champions,EYSA Pumas 1-0. With several absences, the team had to battle all weekend with 6 players making the result even more impressive. USC would like to congratulate both teams on their success in their first state tournament and wish them continued success in the future.

 

United 01 Boys Comets are Champions in Birmingham Bash

The 01 Boys Comets took home the Champion's medals winning the Silver Division in the 2009 Birmingham Bash tournament.  The team went undefeated in 4 games scoring an impressive 22 goals while only giving up 4.  They had wins over BUSA North Arsenal, BUSA North Liverpool, VHSC Torino, and COOSA YMCA in round robin play.  USC would like to congratulate the team for their excellent performance in this tournament and wish the boys continued success for the remainder of their season.
