USC 97 Boys are Finalists at Tennessee United Cup of Champions

Congratulations go out to the USC 97 Boys for taking the Finalists slot at the United Cup of Champions in Tennessee. The boys went undefeated in group play with wins over Harpeth FC 2-1, BUSA North 5-0, and TUSC 3-0. The boys had a narrow loss in the final to Harpeth FC 1-0. The USC family would like to commend the team for their strong performance and wish them continued success.

USC 97 Boys are Champions at Copa Memphis

The 97 Boys took the Championship at the 2010 Copa Memphis tournament in Memphis, TN.  In group play, the team had wins over Tupelo Futbol Club 3-0, Lobos 5-1, and Tennesse Nike Rush 3-0. In the final, the boys met up with Tupelo FC once again for a rematch and topped them 5-0 in the championship match.  USC would like to congratulate the 97 Boys for bringing home the championship medals and wish them continued success for the remainder of the season.

USC 97 Boys Take Championship at Germantown

The 97 Boys brought home the Championship winning the Silver Division in the 2009 Germantown Invitational tournament in Memphis, TN.  The team defeated Mississippi Fire 2-0 and MidSouth FC 1-0 in group play.  They had a come from behind victory against Pride Fusion 2-1 in the semi-final and won the final match against Louisiana Fire 1-0.  The team fought extremely hard all weekend to come away with the victory medals.  USC would like to congratulate the 97 Boys on their Championship at Germantown in addition to their successful campaign this Fall.

United 97 Boys are Champions at the Music City Invitational

97Boys_MusicCity.jpgThe United 97 Boys team had a very successful weekend taking the championship in the Gold Division at the Music City Invitational in Nashville this past weekend.  The team went undefeated in round robin play defeating Tennessee United Red 3-0, Brentwood Select 4-0, Harpeth FC Black 2-0, and tying Nashville Metros 2-2.  The team’s defensive play was superb recording shutouts in 3 of the 4 games.  USC would like to congratulate the team for their great performance in this tournament and wish the boys continued success for the remainder of their season.

United '97 Boys Have Success at Music City Invitational

 The United SC '97 Boys finished a competitive weekend as Finalists in the 2008 Music City Spring Invitational.  In group play, the team had wins against host team Germantown Fury, an exciting shoot-out victory against Harpeth FC, and narrow losses to Tennessee United in group play and in the finals.  Congratulations to the '97 Boys on their success.
