Megan Ziegler

Megan Ziegler started playing soccer competitively as a teenager. She played club for North Alabama United Thunder winning a state championship in 2000. She played at Sparkman High School where she was the team's captain for 3 years and received multiple awards each year. She had the privilege to play in college at Middle Tennessee State University and Southern Wesleyan University. Megan was the team captain for 2 years and received the MVP and NCCAA All-region award for 3 years. Her senior year at SWU, she was an NCCAA All-American. Megan had the opportunity to go on a soccer mission trip to Uruguay in 2004. While in Uruguay, her team played the U-19 National Uruguayan Team. In 2007, she traveled to Costa Rica on another soccer mission trip with SCORE International, an organization specializing in sports mission trips. Megan has been the Assistant Coach for Westminster Christian Academy girl’s varsity team for 2 years. In 2007, she was the Graduate Assistant for the University of Alabama in Huntsville soccer team, while working on her Master’s degree in Business Administration. Megan currently holds a USSF State "D" coaching license.
