Pete Lianos

Pete grew up in a rich tradition of soccer originating from his family moving here from Greece. He played youth soccer in Memphis, TN and moved to Huntsville at the age of 12. Over the years, Pete’s club teams consistently made it to the State finals and to Regional play. Pete played high school ball for Grissom High under the coaching of Mike Latty. During his high school career, Grissom won 3 Alabama State Championships and was consistently ranked nationally. Pete played collegiate soccer for UAH under scholarship but an injury after his freshman year temporarily forced him to stop playing. He played 2 years on Auburn’s club team receiving MVP honors in the SCSL Championship tourney. Pete has close to 10 years experience coaching club soccer and his teams have been champions and finalists on numerous occasions in state and club tournaments.
